Within a broad characterization study, we analyzed activation, viability, cytokine secretion, and permeability of human umbilical vein endothelial cells (HUVECs) upon stimulation with different stimuli. In addition HUVEC-permeability was analyzed in a trans-well-based leakage assay upon stimulation in presence or absence of human peripheral blood mononuclear cells (PBMCs). The dataset consist of 1) Expression of cellular surface markers (FACS), 2) Viability (FACS), 3) Secreted cytokines (Bead Array based on FACS), 4) Increased permeability (Leakage Assay)
